There’s a hard truth in this game: if you’re not evolving, you’re falling behind.
Football doesn’t stay the same. Recruiting doesn’t stay the same. Training methods don’t stay the same. The athlete who dominated two years ago? Irrelevant if he hasn’t grown. The coach who won five years ago? In trouble if he’s stuck there.
Evolution isn’t trendy. It’s survival.
And if we’re serious about raising IQ, we better be serious about growth.
ME: Building the Service Arm
Growth starts in the mirror.
That’s why I’m expanding GTTF beyond notebooks and content. I’m building a service arm — virtual consultation focused on:
- Film study structure
- Highlight tape creation
- Recruiting clarity
- Connecting players with trainers who actually develop them
Too many athletes are guessing. Too many families are confused. Too many highlight tapes look like random clips stitched together at 1:30am.
We can do better.
If I believe in evolution, I can’t just preach it. I have to model it. That means sharpening my delivery, building systems, and creating structure that helps athletes think clearer and move smarter.
Growth isn’t comfortable. Good. Comfort is where mediocrity lives.
PLAYERS: Evolve Physically. Mentally. Emotionally.
Lifting weights is obvious. Getting faster is obvious.
But evolving mentally? That’s the separator.
- Can you process faster this season than last?
- Do you understand leverage, formation recognition, tendencies?
- Are you emotionally stable when things go wrong?
Film study isn’t about watching highlights. It’s about slowing the game down. IQ is the equalizer. Talent might get you noticed — but processing speed keeps you on the field.
The athlete who evolves mentally extends his ceiling.
The athlete who evolves emotionally becomes dependable.
And dependability gets scholarships.
COACHES: Adapt or Be Studied
Here’s the uncomfortable part: players aren’t the only ones who must evolve.
If your system looks exactly like it did 10 years ago, opposing coordinators are smiling.
Are you studying trends?
Are you refining teaching language?
Are you maximizing tech without letting it replace fundamentals?
Film platforms are better. Data is richer. Communication tools are sharper. The coach who refuses to adapt gets outpaced — not by talent, but by preparation.
Evolution doesn’t mean abandoning identity.
It means sharpening it.
PROGRAMS: Culture Must Level Up
Programs evolve when standards rise.
Bulk notebook orders. Structured film systems. Defined accountability. Clear recruiting messaging. Those things matter.

When a program invests in structure, it signals something: We care about development.
Evolution at the program level creates alignment. Alignment creates consistency. Consistency wins.
PARENTS: Learn the Landscape
Parents evolve too.
Recruiting is different than it was 20 years ago. Exposure is digital. Communication is strategic. Camps cost money. Branding matters. Film matters more.
The best support isn’t pressure.
It’s informed guidance.
When parents understand timelines, levels, and realistic pathways, they become steady anchors instead of anxious noise.
That’s evolution.
TRACK IT OR IT DIDN’T HAPPEN 📓
Growth without documentation is just a feeling.
